Interests During my first year at university I was treasurer for LSU BALADS (Loughborough Students Union Ballroom and Latin American Dance Society). I learnt a lot during this time, gaining experience in book keeping and organising events with the other members of the committee. We organised a very successful Easter Ball to which we invited groups from Leicester University and students from other classes run by our teachers. I go to church every Sunday, and most weeks i help setup the PA equipment. I enjoy playing the Piano and Guitar, and I spend time riding my bikes to keep fit. I am a strong swimmer and I used to compete at county level and still swim regularly.
I have spent the last 10 years working for a major financial institution in their technology department. During this time I have completed a range of roles, including:
  • Telephone based technology support
  • Technical and soft skill training for new starters
  • Scripting to automate support processes (Batch, VBS and Powershell)
  • Lean continuous improvement projects
